Fasting According to Islam

A saying of the Prophet (pbuh) is:

"One of the gates of Paradise is called the gate of Rayyan, the gate of refreshments. Only those who fast may enter through it. It will be said: 'Where are those who fast?'"

They will rise and enter. No one else will enter through it. It will be closed forever."
