Which sabon beldi will you choose?
All five are black soaps based on olives. They differ in what has been added to them:
- Argan: black olive soap with argan.
- Eucalyptus: with eucalyptus, for those who love a fresh scent.
- Lavender: with lavender oil.
- Aker Fassi: with Aker Fassi, the red powder that is also used in Morocco as a lip and cheek tint.
- Sider: with sider, the ground leaf of the sidr tree.
How to use sabon beldi
- First, let your skin get warm and moist in the bath, under the shower, or in the sauna.
- Spread a small amount of soap thinly over your damp skin.
- Let the soap soak in for five to ten minutes and keep your skin warm.
- Rinse off and then scrub with a kese, the rough hammam glove, using firm strokes.
- Rinse again and dry off.
