Explanation of the Beautiful Names of Allah

One of the noblest and most sublime forms of knowledge is knowing Allah through His beauty. The creatures who have the most complete knowledge of Allah are those who know Him through His perfection, greatness, and beauty. Nothing is comparable to Him in any of His Attributes. This book is derived from the opening words of Shaykh Ibn Nâsir as-Sa'dî, may Allah have mercy upon him, from his tafsir of the Quran, Taysîr al-Karîm ar-Rahmân, in which he beautifully and concisely explains the Names of Allah that appear in the Quran. After each explanation, a few verses from the Quran were added to show the usage of that specific Name. The author, may Allah have mercy upon him, only mentioned those Names that appear in the Quran, and these total 89 in his opinion. Additional names that appear in the Quran have been added based on the work of Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymîn, Qawâ'id al-Muthlâ fî Sifâti Allâhi wa Asmâ'ihi al-Husnâ, which brings the total to 103. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Author: Shaykh Sa'di Translator(s): Department of translations Publisher: badr Format: Paperback ISBN: 978-2-87528-006-0 Pages: 105
