This castor oil from Najel, also known as ricinus oil, is a thick, colorless oil that you can use for your hair, scalp, hands, nails, and eyelashes. The oil comes from the first cold pressing of castor seeds and is certified organic by COSMOS-ECOCERT. Small producers in northern India craft it using artisanal methods through ethical trade.

How to use it

• Hair: massage a few drops into your hair and onto your scalp, leave it in for a moment, and then wash out with shampoo
• Hands: apply daily to dry, chapped skin, for example due to the cold
• Nails: apply the oil with a brush and let it dry for about 10 minutes, or massage it in until it is absorbed
• Eyelashes: remove your makeup first, apply the oil with a clean eyelash brush or cotton swab, and leave it to work overnight
