How do I perform the minor and major ablution?

It is mandatory for Muslims to perform prayer in a state of purity. To be pure for prayer, they must perform the minor ablution (‘al-Wudu’). In some situations, the minor ablution is not sufficient and they must perform the major ablution (‘al-Ghusl’). Both the minor and major ablutions must be performed according to the example of the Prophet (peace be upon him).

In this book, the author explains step-by-step how the minor and major ablutions should be performed according to the example of the Prophet (peace be upon him). He concludes the book with an explanation of ‘at-Tayammum’ (the alternative to the minor and major ablutions in certain situations). The information in this book is supported by illustrations.

This book is intended as a guide for Muslims who are not yet familiar with the rules of the minor and major ablutions and wish to learn these rules according to the example of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Furthermore, Muslims who have been performing the minor and major ablutions for some time can use this book as a reference to check their minor and major ablutions against the example of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and improve them where necessary.
