the 1970 version, this is the slightly fresher, less woody variant. This Eau de Cologne is for daily use.

Eau de cologne is also used in many countries as a disinfectant. It is ideal for disinfecting your hands more frequently and keeping them clean; furthermore, it is very refreshing.

In the past, Eau de Cologne was used as a home remedy for disinfecting all kinds of scrapes and scratches, mosquito bites, red patches, and minor inflammations. The alcohol in the liquid kills bacteria and fungi. It does sting a little on an open wound, just like iodine.
