The Five Pillars of Islam - for children

An Islamic children's book in Dutch that explains the five pillars of Islam in a simple way? You have now found that book! Meet our own publication: The five pillars of Islam for children.

This children's book teaches young Muslims about the five pillars of Islam in an accessible way. The shahadah, prayer, zakat, fasting during Ramadan, and the Hajj to Saudi Arabia are all covered. Furthermore, extensive attention is paid to the various steps of prayer and wudu through colorful illustrations.

The book is written to ensure the language used is as closely aligned with children's understanding as possible. We recommend this book for children aged seven and up. However, due to the simple explanation and illustrations, this book would also be extremely suitable for new Muslims to teach them the steps of wudu and prayer.

Moreover, the booklet has been made educationally friendly. Both parents and teachers are supported in their task of educating the child through a "test yourself" section after each chapter and learning tips for the children. These additions promote interaction between the educator and the child, making the subject matter easier to absorb and helping it stick.
