The provisions of the preacher who proclaims the word of Allah

''What is ''taqwa''?'' The answer is that which has been narrated from Talq ibn Habib, may Allah have mercy upon him: ''Taqwa is that you act in obedience to Allah and by the light of Allah, while hoping for the reward of Allah.''

In these words, he linked both knowledge and deeds together, as well as hope for reward and fear of punishment. And this is taqwa. We all know very well that the preacher about Allah, the Glorious and Almighty, must be the first to enrich himself with the character of taqwa. Both in private and in public.
