Islam and its excellent characteristics

This is a translation of a lecture titled 'Islamic legislation and its excellent qualities and the essential need of mankind for it,' which was given by the great scholar ‘Abdul-‘Aziez bin Baaz may Allaah have mercy on him. The shaykh says in the book:

“It is known to the Muslims and anyone who possesses even the slightest knowledge of past events that Allaah sent all messengers with the religion of Islam. From the first messenger, Nūḥ, up to and including the last, Muhammad, this has been the case. In fact, our father Aadam was upon Islam, as were the generations that came after him until idolatry occurred among the people of Nūḥ. All of them were upon Islam, as Ibn ‘Abbaas has stated.”
