Cooking with a tagine is a fun alternative to a casserole dish, resulting in a Mediterranean-style meal. Tagines are used to prepare vegetable, meat, and fish dishes. This traditional tagine in stylish red/black brings a Mediterranean atmosphere into your home. The tagine is made of earthenware and is suitable for use in the oven and on all stovetops, except induction. It can withstand temperatures up to 450°C. To prevent the earthenware tagine from cracking at high temperatures, it is recommended to soak the tagine in water for 24 hours before first use. Grease the inside of both the base and the lid with vegetable oil when using the tagine for the first time.
