Arif Tagine large

This tagine is made from 100% natural clay (earthenware) and has been used in Northern Morocco for thousands of years. It is unglazed, unpainted, and 100% lead-free.

Due to the special cone-shaped lid, evaporated moisture flows back onto the ingredients; this cooking process protects valuable ingredients such as vitamins and flavors.

Diameter: Ø 27 cm - 30 cm.
Bowl is 8.50 cm deep
Total height including lid: 18 cm.
Suitable for 4-6 people.

The tagine is handmade, so the delivered model may differ slightly from the one in the photo. It may also occasionally occur that the tagine shows an imperfection (such as small irregularities). On one hand, this is the charm of the product.

First use of the tagine:

You will always find instructions for using the tagine included.

Please note!:
- The tagine cannot withstand temperature shocks, so heat the tagine slowly.
- When using in the oven, never preheat.
- The tagine is not suitable for the dishwasher.

Maintenance
Wash the tagine by hand with a little dish soap and lukewarm/warm water. Use a non-metallic brush and do not let the earthenware soak in water. Let the tagine dry thoroughly to prevent mold.

Which heat sources are suitable?
You can use the tagine on any heat source, except for induction.

Which dishes can you prepare?
Use the tagine for preparing fish, meat, vegetables, and fruit. The flavor of added herbs and other seasonings is given plenty of time to meld during preparation in the tagine. The result is a tasty and low-fat dish.
