Over Cooking & Dining
In Cooking & Dining you will find everything for Moroccan cuisine and the laid table: tagines, a couscous pan, the anagdam, a teapot, glasses, and serving trays. You will also find spice blends such as ras el hanout and harira, and accessories like a heat diffuser and induction adapter.
Where do you start in Moroccan cuisine?
- Tagine: choose an earthenware tagine, such as the Slaoui tagine or the family tagine, or a tagine suitable for all stovetops, including induction. There are also complete tagine sets with spices, a cookbook, and an induction adapter.
- Couscous: in the stainless steel couscous pan, you steam couscous over your stew; it is available from 4 to 16 liters and also works on induction. In the earthenware kasria (gsaa), Ø 40 cm, you can mix couscous or knead dough.
- Bread and msemen: on the anagdam, a flat pan that also works on induction, you bake msemen, harcha, and other flatbreads.
- Serving tea: the Moroccan stainless steel teapot (0.8 to 2 liters) is suitable for induction. Place it on the round, silver-colored 38 cm serving tray with oriental patterns and pour into transparent glasses.
- Spices: tagine spices, ras el hanout, harira and harissa spices, fish seasoning and shawarma spices, plus preserved lemons for a fresh flavor in your tagine.
- Useful extras: a simmer plate or heat diffuser (Ø 21 cm), an induction adapter (23.5 cm), and a plate riser for plates and bowls on the table.
Induction and Moroccan cuisine
Induction only works with pans that have a magnetic base. Earthenware does not. With an induction adapter, a metal plate that heats up on the cooktop, you can still use your tagine. A heat diffuser distributes the heat on gas, so that your tagine does not get too hot in one spot.
