Marital conflicts
Marital conflicts, which couple does not struggle with them in these turbulent times? With this concise work, we wish to point out to spouses certain dangers that only drive a marriage towards ruin. And the only one waiting for that moment is the leader of the disbelievers - Iblis the accursed. It may be clear that the 21st century is a time of trials and fitnah for young and old, rich and poor, married and unmarried. Therefore, it is so important for us Muslims to protect our last stronghold, i.e., a successful and happy Islamic marriage, against external, mostly planned factors in a desperate attempt to destroy this final tribal structure. The author has succeeded, through very concise answers and meaningful Quranic verses and authentic ahadith, in sketching how a fruitful marriage can be achieved and how both partners should treat one another. May Allah reward the author richly for his intention and efforts. Author: Majdi Muhammad ash-ShahawiTranslator(s): Noer UitgeverijPages: 110

Weeping out of fear of Allah
'No servant's eyes shed tears out of fear of Allah, but that Allah will protect his body from the Hellfire. When the tear rolls down his cheek, his face will never be covered by darkness or humiliation. If a servant were to weep in a community, Allah would save that community from the Hellfire through the weeping of this servant. Every deed has a weight and a reward, except for tears; for they truly extinguish seas of fire!' 'Umar ibn al-Khattab had two black streaks on his face from weeping. When Thabit al-Bunani developed an eye condition, the doctor said to him: 'If you promise me one thing, your eye will heal.' Thabit asked: 'What is that?' The doctor replied: 'That you do not cry.' To which Thabit said: 'What is the use of an eye that does not weep?' Whenever 'Ataa' as-Salimi finished his minor ritual ablution, he would begin to tremble and weep intensely. One day, he was asked about this, to which he replied: 'Indeed, I am embarking on a momentous matter! Truly, I am about to stand before Allah!' Al-Fudayl ibn 'Iyad had become accustomed to weeping, so much so that it would sometimes happen that he wept in his sleep, and the people in the house could hear him.

Hold on to Allah SWT
Hold fast to Allah swtThe Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave Abdullah Ibn Abbas the following golden advice:“Young man, I shall teach you some (useful) words: Be mindful of Allah and Allah will protect you, be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you. When you ask, ask of Allah, and when you seek help, seek it from Allah. And know that if the entire community were to gather together to benefit you, they would only be able to benefit you with that which Allah has already written for you, and if they were to gather together to harm you, they would only be able to harm you with that which Allah has already written for you. For the pens have been lifted and the pages have dried.”This narration contains many immensely useful pieces of advice, all of which belong to the most important foundations of faith. In this booklet, Ibn Rajab Al-Hanbali provides an explanation of the main objectives within this narration.Title: Be mindful of Allah, and Allah will protect youPublisher: Al-hadith editionsAuthor: Ibn Rajab al-HanbaliLanguage: DutchFormat: PaperbackPages: 67

Preparing for Judgment Day
Shaykh Muhammed al-Wassaabie, may Allah have mercy on him, said: (..) You then have no notebook at hand to refer to, no notes to review, no pen with which to write down your thoughts, no book that you can study, and no time to think or remember things. You are tested by means of three questions and nothing more. This while you are covered in soil, without any of the means that were available to you in this (worldly) life. Allah says: "From it (the earth) We created you, and into it We shall return you, and from it We shall bring you out once again." (20:55) There is no bed beneath you, no pillow, no other (type of) cushion, and no fan in front of you. You reside in a house of earth without tiles, concrete, or marble. You are surrounded by a hole, and you possess no trousers, shirt, turban, or (long) robe. You have left behind beautifying yourself and combing your hair. There is no one in your vicinity who sells perfume or a barber. Rather, it is the case that at that moment you are asked about three matters..."
